Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of HomeCraft OS. By using HomeCraft on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business to these terms.

Effective August 29, 2026

1. The service

HomeCraft OS provides software for service-business operations, including project, schedule, customer, document, financial, reporting, collaboration, AI-assisted, and connected-service workflows. Features may be introduced, changed, limited, or retired as the shared platform evolves. Any order form or written subscription agreement between HomeCraft and a customer also applies; if it conflicts with these general terms, the signed agreement controls for that customer.

2. Customer tenants and accounts

Each customer is responsible for its tenant, authorized users, roles, permissions, configured workflows, and the accuracy and lawfulness of information it supplies. Users must keep credentials secure, use their own account, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Tenant administrators are responsible for granting and removing access when a person’s role changes.

3. Acceptable use

You may use HomeCraft only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not misuse the service, bypass security or tenant boundaries, access data without authority, interfere with operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or overload the service, reverse engineer except where law permits, or use HomeCraft to violate another person’s rights.

4. Customer data and permissions

The customer retains its rights in the information it submits to HomeCraft. The customer grants HomeCraft the rights needed to host, process, secure, back up, transmit, and present that information to provide the service and complete authorized actions. The customer is responsible for obtaining any notices, permissions, or consents required for information about customers, workers, subcontractors, or other people.

5. Google and other connected services

Connected services are optional and governed by their providers’ terms. A tenant administrator or other authorized person controls whether a capability is connected. HomeCraft requests permissions incrementally and uses them only for the explained capability.

The current Calendar capability uses separate HomeCraft-created project calendars and does not place all jobs in a user’s primary calendar; the Drive capability uses explicit per-file access; and the Gmail send capability sends only an exact HomeCraft project-mail version that the connected user explicitly approves. Gmail inbox reading, search, watch, modification, deletion, Gmail-native drafts, and company-wide mailbox ingestion are not enabled by send-only access. If the restricted Gmail mailbox-review capability is separately owner-enabled and consented, the exact connected user may run a bounded on-demand search and transiently review metadata for up to 10 matching threads before explicitly linking one to a project. HomeCraft does not store that search or returned mailbox content, and the capability does not enable background ingestion, modification, or deletion. When a provider response after Gmail dispatch is ambiguous, HomeCraft may require the user to check Sent Mail instead of automatically resending and risking a duplicate customer email. A provider outage, policy, account restriction, revocation, or API change may limit connected features without preventing HomeCraft from remaining the canonical business record.

6. AI-assisted features

AI features assist authorized users and may produce incomplete, incorrect, or unexpected output. Customers and users remain responsible for reviewing outputs, approvals, business decisions, and compliance. AI output is not professional legal, accounting, tax, engineering, medical, or safety advice. HomeCraft permissions, explicit approvals, canonical business records, and audit history remain authoritative.

7. Fees, suspension, and termination

Fees, billing frequency, renewal, usage limits, and cancellation terms are stated in the applicable subscription or order. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, security risk, unlawful use, material breach, or harm to the service or others. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Either party may terminate as allowed by the applicable subscription or written agreement.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep HomeCraft reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, emergencies, internet conditions, third-party services, and events beyond reasonable control may affect availability. We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be communicated as required, and continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply.

9. Confidentiality and security

Each party will use reasonable care to protect the other party’s non-public confidential information and use it only to perform or receive the service. These obligations do not cover information that is public through no breach, already known without restriction, independently developed, or lawfully received from another source. Required legal disclosure is permitted with notice when lawful.

10. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, HomeCraft is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that cannot be read into these terms without an express written agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, right, or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. A customer is responsible for maintaining appropriate operational procedures, reviewing critical records and outputs, and keeping any legally required independent records or backups.

11. Privacy and contact

Our Privacy Notice explains how HomeCraft processes information. Questions about these terms may be sent to support@homecraftos.com.
